Charity Does Not Begin At Home

For, what we do for our families, for our homes – cannot be termed as charity at all. It is our duty, our responsibility. And, so charity does not begin at home. Charity must begin outside our homes. Charity is born of our sense of piety towards those who are not our kith or kin, who are strangers to us, who are not known to us personally…… But, who are suffering, who are in need of our services.

Emancipation Insults Womanhood

For, in many ways woman is superior to a man. Emancipation, on the other hand, lowers her status and makes it at par with man. Emancipation has a “Man” as its standard. It is a dirty word, for it does not consider the potentials of a woman. Woman’s standard and status, both are not recognized. She is made, rather forced to struggle to meet man’s standard. The question is: What for? Why should a woman struggle to meet such standard? Doesn’t she have her own standard?

Commerce and Conscience

There are people with conscience trying to spiritualize commerce, and there are people without conscience trying to commercialize spirituality. A mediocre can hardly see the difference between the two, much less understand it. The difference, however, can easily be seen by a person with some intelligence. For, conscience is the blossoming of human intelligence. Mere intellectual knowledge can never give birth to the conscience in a human being.
